Based in Malaysia, Maple Lens offers a variety of circle and cosplay lenses, but what's especially standing out when examining the webshop are the brands they have. Apart from EOS and GEO, they sell most of Vassen's designs, a brand I consider my absolute favourite thanks to the comfort and uniqueness their lenses provide. I got to choose two pairs and went for a GEO Nudy-like EOS Fay 3 Tone Brown and Vassen Snow Black pair. Since I'm still in a no-makeup mood, I decided to keep it down and pair them with colours I'd confidently wear to work these days. The vials themselves have no special labelling, which I honestly prefer, as I tend to lose track of my unopened vials easily. My package arrived after only three days, FedEx takes credit for that, however, I'm not sure which shipping method the shop uses for non-sponsorées. Maple Lens provides real preview pictures (= review shots) for most of the lenses and a brief yet helpful Do & Don't List addressing eye and lens care.
The Fay 3 Tones in brown reminded me a lot of a combination of GEO's Nudy and EOS E-203 Adult series and that's exactly what it is, a heavenly combination of both. You know how I constantly praise and recommend the Adults to anybody who inquires about the "perfect" pair of circle lenses. They're fairly enlarging at 14.5mm and create a rather natural look. The rims might look rather black in the stock photo, but in fact it's a very dark brown, which gives the overall lens a hint of burgundy, which I absolutely loved. Best-looking pair of lenses I wore in a while. I experienced some difficulties with the comfort, though, but that's because the cat wildly ran around me in circles while I tried to put then lenses in and he tends to lose a lot of fur, which magically landed in my lens case and fur burns like crazy in one's eye, I can tell you.

I chose the Vassen Snows in black because the pattern looked gorgeous and I haven't worn black lenses in a long time and remembered how much I used to like the alien-like effect they created. To my disappointment, the pattern wasn't really noticeable at all once put in, in fact the pattern looked all washed out and made the outer rims appear bolder than it was, which I personally don't like, there was hardly any blending and the lenses looked way too fake for my taste. Comfort-wise and enlargement-wise they did a fabulous job, though.
