Proper Google research on the zodiac scorpio didn't help me much, as every single site had various statements on what scorpios are like, thus it could be interpreted in many ways and expressed with any colour. I once saw a scorpion in Africa, which was white, almost translucent, it happened to be a significant memory of mine, as I recall that event over and over again. Was I shocked, petrified, interested, positively freaked out? But since this is about the zodiac, with all its pretty gems and fancy character traits, I went for kind of a signature look to show you what a blonde scorpio lady looks like!Die Recherche für diesen Look hat mir nicht viel gebracht, da jede Seite ihren eigenen Senf zur Charakterisierung eines typischen Skorpion-Menschens dazugegeben hat. Ich habe mal einen Skorpion gesehen, als ich in Afrika war, der so hell schien, dass es mir fast vorkam, als ob er durchsichtig wäre. Anscheinend hat mich dieses Erlebnis nachhaltig beeindruckt, denn ich denke ziemlich oft an diese Begegnung. Da es hier ja aber nicht um das Tier, sondern das Sternzeichen ging, habe ich mich für meine Lieblingsfarbkombination entschieden, die ab heute jeden blonden, grünäugigen Skorpion repräsentieren soll!
Born on Oct 25th, I missed being a libra by a hair. I don't really believe in astrology, but sometimes my daily horoscope matches whatever happens that day or maybe I just want it to match and pay attention to the smallest detail just to say: "HA! This magazine so knows me". I'm way more into astronomy, though, I could read about planets and solar eruptions for hours. Astrology is a fun part of it, though. Or not a part at all, depends.
Wäre ich nicht am 25. Oktober geboren worden, wäre ich jetzt eine Waage. Ich glaube nicht wirklich an Astrologie, aber manchmal passt mein Horoskop und dazugehörigen Ereignisse einfach wie die Faust auf's Auge und ich denke mir, dass da doch etwas dran sein könnte. Astronomie hingegen interessiert mich brennend, ich könnte Stunden damit zubringen, über Planeten und derlei Kram zu lesen.

Uniqso recently provided me with a pair of GEO T732 Star Dust lenses, which are considered cosplay lenses with a circle lens-like effect, due to the bold rims. They work best on darker eyes, though, since the star pattern fades from a light lilac to a clean white, which wouldn't be as visible on - say - grey eyes. With lenses like these, you have to be über careful, make sure to have the right side up, the stars appear opaque both ways (concave and convex), but if the 'opaque' side of the stars is on the wrong side of the lens, your eyeball will hurt like crazy, in fact it might get blood-shot to the point where you can't even keep your eyes open anymore to tear the lens out. So be extra careful when wearing these darlings! And of course that happened to me, otherwise I wouldn't have warned you.
Uniqso hat mir kürzlich die "GEO T732 Star Dust"-Linsen zugeschickt, die ich der Familie der Cosplay-Linsen zuordne, obwohl sie einen stark vergrößernden Effekt haben und sich auch mehr nach Circle Lenses anfühlen als alles andere. Jedoch warne ich euch davor, vor dem Tragen der Linse immer zu überprüfen, ob die richtige Seite nach oben zeigt, die, die etwas farbintensiver ist. Wenn man bei solchen Linsen nicht genauestens darauf achtet und sie mit der falschen Seite ins Auge tut, kann das höllisch wehtun und macht es fast unmöglich, die Linse aus dem Auge zu kriegen. Das ist mir zumindest passiert, natürlich.

We went to Atlantic City and I was so excited that I needed a spontaneous transformation and while shopping for hair dye for herself, it came to my mind that I've been wanting blue hair for the longest time (since I was sixteen?) and so we did it. Just like that!
Wie ihr vielleicht bemerkt habt, hat die Wunderelfe Erica mir dabei geholfen, meinen Traum von blauen Haarspitzen zu verwirklichen. Ich war über's Wochenende in Atlantic City und so aufgedreht, dass ich spontan beschlossen habe, es sei nun an der Zeit, meine Pläne in die Tat umzusetzen.
