Still Blushin' in French

Majolica Majorca, a brand I considered a favourite of mine for a long time, hasn't been given much attention on my part since my move, mainly because I focused on America-only brands and planned my budget according to their offers. I'd purchase way more MajoMajo products if only the prices were appropriate. I know for sure I'd pay 40% less for any of their products offline. And while I can justify cashing out a lot for French high-end (because I know what to expect), I can't find enough reasons to fully give MajoMajo the love it deserves. After all it's a Japanese drugstore brand, which I'd define as mid-end, though, considering I paid 17$ for each of their latest Puff de Cheek blush additions: Cherry Macaron and Raspberry Macaron.

Long-time readers may recall that I was all about the macaron-inspired, cutest blushes ever when they first came out last year, four in total, two of them being limited shades. I got them all and newbies can get both permanent shades on Adambeauty for a more reasonable price. Adambeauty may be the last online shop to get the good stuff, but at least they don't jack up the prices the way Good Dealer does, which is the place where I got mine from. I'm not all up to date with MajoMajo's recent releases, though, and still have to get my hands on the third Majoromantica fragrance, but the two new limited shades were on my wish list the minute the first blurry snapshots popped up.

Unlike the other four shades, Cherry Macaron and Raspberry Macaron are glittery, much to my surprise (I actually don't like/use glitter blushes). Raspberry Macaron, a cool-toned lilac rose, contains silver glitter particles whereas the banana pink Cherry Macaron boasts a gold glitter infusion. Puff de Cheek blushes have a buttery, soft texture and are rather sheer, thus each colour can be build up in layers, hence no stain alert, ladies.
