While waiting for my flight at LAX the other day, I checked my Twitter timeline that was literally swamped with launch information regarding M.A.C's latest mineralized collection, Heavenly Creature. As a big fan of anything universe-themed, I could hardly wait for Temptalia to post swatches, then placed my order without thinking and received the famous black box yesterday and don't regret a single thing I purchased. Apparently, these three products seem to be the most hyped. And so I dreamt about the products that were on their way to me on my six-hour flight while the college student's head next to me gently found its place on my shoulder.

Certainly, I would've loved to get everything, but especially the eyeshadows - that look a.m.a.z.i.n.g in the pan - have rather odd colour payoff and overall a very weird colour once swatched. The other MSFs and blushes are just as beautiful, but two of them are too dark for me and the others might've only enhanced my bad skin, I didn't want to spend money on a product that makes me look less attractive than I already am, haha.

Light Year Mineralize Skin Finish is a "peachy pink with golden shimmer" and is intense enough to work as a blush on my pale skin (which is still a little bronzed thanks to Cali sun, though).

Star Wonder Mineralize Skin Finish is a "plumy pink with multi-dimensional pearl shimmer" and sold out instantly. Man, I'm so glad I got it without knowing how sought-after it was. MSFs retail for $29 each and are totally worth the high price tag in my opinion, since I use them almost every time I apply make-up.

Ring of Saturn Mineralize Blush is "terracotta and gold melange" (rather raspberry imho) and an absolute darling despite being quite glittery. I usually dislike glitter in face products because most brands (NARS *coughs*) throw in glitter chunks, which is the death of any non-flawless skin. RoS is still available and retails for $23.50!

Ring of Saturn, Light Year, Star Wonder
I'm seriously contemplating whether to snatch the other MSFs and blushes (what a shame Supernova's already sold out) as well as one eyeshadow in "Sky", which doesn't look too bad swatched. If you're in love with the collection's concept but aren't sure whether anything might be the real deal, stop thinking and start ordering now because that stuff is damn hyped. After all you can send it back to M.A.C if you're not happy with what you got.
