Maths on Tuesday, music the week after, then geography and German LOL fml³
Speciallens kindly sponsored me three pairs of lenses recently and I'd like to review the first of them today: EOS J203 Adult Brown, which you can get under the name Blytheye Brown on their website. They're the Old Adult's younger sister and even though everyone knows about my crazy addiction to the Old Adult series, I prefer these brown Adults over the E203, they look fantastic and I usually have a hard time liking brown lenses because they make my eyes look dull and lusterless.
These didn't, they added a nice shine to my iris, which made them look incredibly dewy and somehow it even reminds me of a Twilight character's eye (y'know, when they're not THAT hungry and have golden eyes, I'm a fan, haha), they're not too vampire-like, though.
I took them out after approx. 6 hours, which was when I came home and already forgot about the fact that I wore lenses. They're super comfortable, do dry out when putting in and out, though, due to the water content of 38%.
Normally, lenses with a diamater of 14.0mm don't visibly enlarge one's eyes, but due to the strong black rims, they did in a certain way. My eyes look more defined and thus my iris seems to be much bigger.
Certainly, I can't wait to try the rest of the series, as I made nothing but good experiences with the new Adults, definitely the most comfortable series around!
Talking about Speciallens, I have nothing to complain about. Shipping took about 8 days to my place, everything was wrapped carefully and the lenses came with colourful Disney-inspired lens cases, a welcome change. I love how they give well-known lenses their very own name, it makes them more special in my opinion.
